This is by far the best dental practice I've ever found. They are completely professional. The receptionists are knowledgeable of how insurance works and explain everything to you. Dr Ashraf helps you to prioritize the work that needs to be done. There is no pressure here. Every procedure is explained and they use state of the art equipment. The hygienists are awesome as well. I highly recommend this practice

Dr. Ashraf is always a pleasure to see, I trust his work as does my family. He is very careful and we have never had any complaints... only bright smiles. My only dismay is that as a New York City Public School Teacher, he does not accept my insurance and so going to see him cost me a lot. If that changed, I would gladly give 5 stars.

How much do dental implants cost?
Every procedure is different because every person is different. In order to get an accurate estimate of the costs associated with a dental implant procedure, we need to see your scans and go over your specific needs.
Implant Bridges, Zygomatic Implants and traditional implants for teeth are a premium solution to tooth loss and therefore are more of an investment than temporary solutions such as dentures, however, with maximizing insurance coverage, and payment plan options available, we work to make it an affordable option for almost anyone.
Do you take insurance towards dental implant procedures?
The amount your insurance will cover is based on your provider and your unique situation. Of course, we will know that once you complete the necessary exams and review everything at your consultation.
Will the dental implant procedure be painful?
You will be fully sedated during your procedure, so there will be no pain. You won't feel a thing! After the surgery, you will have mild discomfort that can be managed with over-the-counter pain medication.

Dr. Fabrice Gallez
Board-Certified Periodontist
Dr. Gallez is originally from Belgium, where he graduated from dental school at the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium, in 1996. He earned his Certificate in Periodontics and MS Oral Biology from the University of Brussels, Belgium, in 1999. After practicing for several years, he relocated to the US. He continued his education at Loma Linda University, completing another Certificate in Periodontics in 2007.
He is a Board-Certified Specialist in Periodontics and Implantology and has provided excellence in periodontal care in Northern California since 2011. As the founder of Bay Area Implants and Periodontics, Dr. Gallez established our exacting standard of care, starting with our mission to empower our patients to make informed decisions about their oral health.
Dr. Michael Ha
Board-Certified Periodontist
Dr. Ha is a distinguished periodontist from Rosemead, California. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Oregon Health & Science University and a Master of Science in Dentistry from Virginia Commonwealth University, where he also completed his specialty residency in periodontics, laser, and implant dentistry. A diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Dr. Ha is also an award-winning researcher.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Ha is an avid traveler and hiker, with a goal to hike a mountain in every country he visits. He is also committed to humanitarian work, having volunteered on several dental missions in countries like Guatemala and the Philippines.
Dr. Sanz
Board-Certified Periodontist
Dr. Elena Sanz is a Board-certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Surgeon with a diverse international background. A Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, she has practiced in cities like New York, London, and Barcelona. Dr. Sanz holds a PhD in Medicine and Translational Research in Periodontics from the University of Barcelona and has been recognized with the 2020 American Board of Periodontology Foundation Nevins BioHorizons Fellowship.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Sanz has held academic positions and published research on the relationship between periodontitis and systemic health. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Catalan, and has volunteered her dental skills with Dentists without Borders in Honduras. Originally from Spain, she now resides in the Bay Area.
